Utley Snaps Slup, but Phils Fall Short Vs. Harvey in 6-5 Loss to Mets

Chase Utley ended his early-season slump in a big way Tuesday night by going 3-3 with two home runs and three RBI against stud New York hurler Matt Harvey, but the Phillies couldn’t hold an early lead and their late rally fell short in a 6-5 loss at Citi Field. Cody Asche and Jeff Francoeur also homered in the game. Francoeur’s second homer of the season was a solo shot that came in the bottom of the ninth with one out against Mets closer Jeurys Familia, who settled down to strike out the next two batters to record his third save in as many games.
