Sixers Start Season’s 2nd Half With Another Thumping

The All-Star break apparently didn’t help the 76ers shake the doldrums that have seen them dealt blowout losses in what is now three of their last four games.

Tyler Zeller scored a season-high 18 points and added a career-best 15 rebounds while Kyrie Irving contributed 14 points fresh off his All Star game MVP performance as the Cleveland Cavaliers (21-33) sent the Sixers (15-40) to their ninth straight loss and picked up their fifth consecutive win with a 114-85 victory in Philly Tuesday night.

Thaddeus Young and Michael Carter-Williams led the Sixers with 15 points each. For more on this game, click here.
