Sixers Fall in Toronto to Surging Raptors

The Sixers let another player returning to the opposing team’s lineup chew them up during a 125-114 loss to the Raptors in Toronto Wednesday night. Guard Kyle Lowry led Toronto (46-32) with 29 points after missing three games with a bruised kneecap while center Jonas Valanciunas scored a career-high 26 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. The Raptors are all but assured the third seed in the Eastern Conference Playoffs.

Henry Sims scored 22 points to lead the Sixers (17-61). Michael Carter-Williams added 19 and Thaddeus Young finished with 16.
