Rough 3rd Period Costs Flyers in 4-1 Loss to Devils

An uneventful period and a half yielded a scoring barrage that saw the Philadelphia Flyers come up on the short end of the stick on Thursday night during a 4-1 loss to the visiting New Jersey Devils. Luke Schenn’s first goal of the season gave Philly a 1-0 lead at 15:04 of the second period before NJ reeled off for four unanswered goals, the first coming just three minutes later off the stick of Travis Zajac on the power play. Steve Mason had 29 saves in net. For more on this game, click here.
