Oilers, Talbot Stand Up Flyers in 4-0 Shutout

The Philadelphia Flyers (29-23-11) peppered Edmonton Oilers (25-35-7) goalie Cam Talbot with 35 shots, including 16 in the second period alone, but the 28-year-old keep who’s now in his third NHL season turned them all aside as he recorded his third shutout of Philly in five tries during a 4-0 win. With the loss and a win by the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Flyers are five points back for the second wild card in the Eastern Conference.
