Nerlens Noel Invites Ailing Boy to Sixers Game

Sixers rookie Nerlens Noel is still waiting to play in his first NBA game, but the blue chip center out of Kentucky made a lot of headlines this week for his efforts to get a young kidney transplant patient to last Friday’s game in Philly vs. the Miami Heat. The boy, Braxton Upthegrove, 16, is a big fan of LeBron James and, now, Noel, who surprised Upthegrove with a video invitation that was presented at his school last week.
