Flyers Use Big 2nd Period to Top Blues, 4-2

With Michal Neuvirth back between the pipes the Philadelphia Flyers ended a brief skid with a 4-2 win in St. Louis. After a scoreless first period the host Blues got on the bird first, but three unanswered goals by Flyers Michael Raffl, Matt Read and Claude Giroux gave Philly a 3-1 lead it wouldn’t waste. Ryan White added an empty-netter late in the third after St. Louis had cut the score to 3-2. Neuvirth stopped 35 of 37 shots faced. For more on this game, click here.
