The Philadelphia Flyers announced today that they have signed 2014 First-Round draft pick, defenseman Travis Sanheim, to an entry-level contract, according to general manager Ron Hextall.

Prior to joining the Flyers at training camp, Sanheim appeared in two preseason games with Calgary and posted two assists.

The 6-3, 189-lb defenseman completed his first season with the Hitmen in 2013-14, where he recorded five goals and 24 assists for 29 points in 67 regular season games, along with 14 PIM and a plus-25 rating.
