Flyers Beat Tampa Bay for 3rd Straight Win

The Philadelphia Flyers remained within two points of the Detroit Red Wings for the second wild card in the Eastern Conference with a 3-1 win in Tampa Bay on Friday night. Sam Gagne, Matt Read and Brayden Schenn scored three unanswered goals as Philly built a 3-0 lead by the middle of the third period before the Lightning ended a shutout bid late in regulation. Steve Mason stopped 18 of 19 shots to earn the win in net.
