Sixers Hold of Celtics to Earn 111-102 Win

Even in a dismal season such as this has been, Sixers coach Brett Brown has seen growth in this team. The Sixers used an 11-4 run Friday night to claim a 111-102 win over the host Boston Celtics in a game that forced the young Sixers to “close out” the game. They haven’t been in that position much of late.

Michael Carter-Williams and Henry Sims both tallied 24 points in the win, which pushed the 76ers record to 17-59, now three games ahead of the Milwaukee Bucks for the most ping pong balls in the upcoming lottery. The loss is the seventh in a row for Boston, which fell to 23-53. For more on this game, click here.
