Sixers Extend Embiid & Other Offseason Moves

The Philadelphia 76ers and center Joel Embiid have agreed to a multi-year contract extension. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not immediately released. CBS reports that the deal is worth $196 million over four years.

This offseason, the Sixers have also signed center Andre Drummond and forward Georges Niang via free agency; drafted shooting guard Jaden Springer, power forward/center Filip Petrusev, and center Charles Bassey; re-signed shooting guard Danny Green, guard/forward Furkan Korkmaz, and small forward; and not re-signed guard George Hill (Milwaukee Bucks) and center Dwight Howard ( Los Angeles Lakers).
