Eagles’ Playoff Hopes Fading After 45-17 Beatdown by Bucs

What was expected to be a homestand that would help them right their season, the Philadelphia Eagles now find themselves on the outside looking in at the playoff picture following a 45-17 blowout loss to the visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon. For the first time this season the defense could not be relied on at all and quarterback Mark Sanchez’ return to the starting lineup in place of an injured Sam Bradford did nothing to reveres the Birds’ bad play as of late.
