Eagles Notebook: Free Agent Frenzy, Bye Bye Murray & The Trade That Truly Was

It was a busy first day of free agency for the Philadelphia eagles on Wednesday. The Birds acquired the eighth overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for linebacker Kiko Alonso, cornerback Byron Maxwell and the 13th overall pick. Additionally, Philly signed quarterback Chase Daniel out of Kansas City, linebacker Nigel Bradham out of Buffalo, cornerback Ron Brooks out of Buffalo, safety Rodney McLeod out of St. Louis/Los Angeles, and guard Brandon Brooks out of Houston.

Additionally, the Eagles confirmed the trade of running back DeMarco Murray (along with a 2016 fourth-round pick) to the Tennessee Titans in exchange for a fourth round pick in the upcoming draft.
