Garnett Returns to Lineup, Nets Edge Sixers

Kevin Garnett played for the first time in five weeks Saturday night, helping his visiting Brooklyn Nets to a 105-101 win over the host 76ers. Garnett scored 10 points in just 13 minutes his first game back in the lineup after sitting out with back spasms. During the game the future Hall of Famer also passed Alex English to move into 14th on the NBA’s career scoring list.

Thaddeus Young led the Sixers (17-60) with 20 points and aided what looked like could become a 21-point comeback before the Nets (42-34) pulled away in the game’s final minute. For more on this game, click here.
