Bynum Calls Philly Fans ‘Weak’

Former Sixers center booed out of the Wells Fargo Center in return

Andrew Bynum will be back in Philly this weekend. His hair and his knees are in better shape.

Philly fans booed Andrew Bynum.

Can this replace the old phrase: Philly fans booed Santa Claus.

They seem to be interchangeable, right? Both Bynum and Santa are fat and lazy, and experiment with questionable hairstyles …

Seriously, though, Philly fans did boo the man that swooped into town last year as a conquering hero (some called him the franchise’s savior) and then never stepped foot on the court, never played a single minute, for the Sixers.

Bynum, now with Cleveland, entered Friday night’s game with 3:38 left in the first quarter. Fans gave it to him pretty good, even throwing out a “Let’s go bowling” chant.

Well, we thought he got it pretty good. Apparently, Bynum expected much worse.

“I felt it was kind of weak actually. I thought it was going to be much worse,” Bynum told reporters after the game.
