Ryan White to Miss 1-2 Weeks With Upper-Body Injury

Flyers general manager Ron Hextall announced this afternoon that forward Ryan White will be out of action for 2-4 weeks with an upper-body injury.

White appeared in 12:34 of ice time on 15 shifts in last night’s 3-2 overtime win over the Hurricanes in Carolina. He has appeared in all 17 games so far this year, recording a goal and two assists for three points and 24 penalty minutes while averaging 13:07 of TOI.

White ranks second on the team in the hit department with 53, trailing only defenseman Radko Gudas, who is currently ranked third among all NHL players with 77 hits.
