Nick Foles Named NFC Player of Month

The good times keep rolling for quarterback Nick Foles.

Just one day after he was named the starting quarterback, Foles earned NFC Offensive Player of the Month honors for the first time in his young career. He is the fourth quarterback in franchise history to earn the award joining Randall Cunningham, Donovan McNabb and Michael Vick, who was the last Eagles quarterback to win it in September 2010.

Foles went 3-0 as the starting quarterback in the month of November posting a passer rating of 152.8, which was the highest by any quarterback in a single month in NFL history.

Foles opened the month in historic fashion by tying the NFL record with seven touchdown passes in a single game in the 49-20 win over Oakland, a game in which he earned NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors. He followed that up with a three-touchdown performance in Green Bay and a 298-yard outing in the win over Washington.
