Following Rain Delay, Pirates Beat Phillies in 13

Talk about a long day at the ballpark. First there was an hour-and-a-half rain delay that held up the game. Then, despite 24 combined hits in the game, it took the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Philadelphia Phillies until the 13th inning to score the game’s first run. Starling Marte’s two-out single to centerfield against Dustin McGowan plated the game’s lone run as the Pirates won, 1-0. For more on this game, click here.
