Flyers Dig Early Hole in 4-1 Loss to Ducks

The visiting Anaheim Ducks pushed Philadelphia’s losing streak to three games with a 4-1 win over the Flyers on Tuesday night. The loss puts Philly six points out of the second wild card spot in the NHL’s Eastern Conference. With his team trailing 3-0, Wayne Simmonds netted the lone goal for Philadelphia, his 19th of the season, at 13:55 of the third period.
