Eickhoff Impresses Again, Phillies Fall to Braves Again

The Philadelphia Phillies are making a late push to lose 100 games on the season. On Saturday night, they fell 2-1 in Atlanta despite getting seven shutout innings from rookie starter Jerad Eickhoff as well as an early 1-0 lead. The Braves scored twice in the eighth off “reliever” Jerome Williams, who took the loss and fell to 4-11 on the season. No Phillies player recorded more than one hit on the evening.
