Eagles Trade No. 22 to Browns, Select LB/DE Marcus Smith at No. 26

The Philadelphia Eagles conducted a last-minute trade while on the draft clock Thursday night, dealing the No. 22 pick overall to the Cleveland Browns for the No. 26 pick overall and the No. 83 pick. At 22, the Browns took polarizing quarterback Johnny Manziel, who’s every sip of water had been documented by that point, while the Eagles selected (to the surprise of seemingly all analysts and fans) linebacker Marcus Smith out of Louisville.
