Eagles Lose Home Opener to Cowboys, Fall to 0-2

The Philadelphia Eagles have quite the hole to dig out of following a 20-10 loss to the visiting Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday. With the loss, the Birds fell to 0-2 and in a tie for last place in the NFC East with the New York Giants. Injuries were a big part of the day with linebackers Kiko Alonso (knee) and Mychal Kendricks (hamstring) being forced out of the game in the second quarter. Alonso’s injury is feared to be serious. Likewise, Dallas quarterback Ton Romo is expected to miss 8-10 weeks with a broken left clavicle suffered on a sack by rookie linebacker Jordan Hicks in the third quarter. With the win, the Cowboys improved to 2-0 and sit atop the division. For more on this game, click here.
