Eagles Fall to 1-3 With Ugly Showing Against Washington

The performance by the Philadelphia Eagles in Washington, DC, on Sunday afternoon was reminiscent of Week 1. After looking like a total mess in the first half and falling behind 13-0, the Birds looked like a different team after the break and stormed to a 20-16 lead early in the fourh quarter while completely stealing the momentum – only to then go flat. With 6:05 remaining in the game, Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins engineered a 90-yard drive that ate up 5:39 of the game clock and ended with a four-yard touchdown pass to Pierre Garcon.

Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford completed 15 of 28 passes for 307 yards and three touchdowns in the loss. Running back DeMarco Murray ran the ball eight times for 36 yards in his return to the lineup. The Eagle next host New Orleans in Week 5. For more on this game, click here.
