DL Bryan Robinson Returns to Soul

Report From Philadelphia Soul

The Arena Football League’s Philadelphia Soul welcomes back DL Bryan Robinson (6’3, 290, Wesley College) to the 2015 Soul training camp roster.

Robinson, who is returning for his fourth season with the Soul recorded 11 tackles, three sacks and six pass breakups in the 2014 season.  In 2013, Robinson was named First Team All-Arena after recording 41.5 tackles and a franchise record 11 sacks with the Soul.  He was awarded Second Team All-Arena honors after recording a career-high 10 sacks and set the AFL single-season record with seven blocked kicks in 2012.

“It’s always nice to have a veteran player return, who fits in well with the players from last year,” says Soul Head Coach Clint Dolezel. “With his experience, Robinson can show the new players how the team works and I hope he’s coming back with a chip on his shoulder.”

Prior to arriving in Philadelphia, Robinson split time between the Kanas City Command in 2011 and both the Cleveland Gladiators and Milwaukee Mustangs in 2010. The former Wesley College lineman recorded Atlantic Central Football Conference career records with 92.5 tackles and 47.5 sacks in four years. He was also named First Team All-ACFC four times and ACFC Defensive Player of the Year three times.
